The 2024 Oscars red carpet was easily the sparkliest in the award show\u2019s history, with a host of stars choosing to wear gowns resembling the gilded Academy Award statuette. Gold sequins, beads, crystals, and chainmail, among other embellishments, were everywhere. <\/p>\n

Many of said looks were accompanied by another buzzy Hollywood trend, the naked dress. As with last year\u2019s show, A-listers wore their best sheer looks ranging the full spectrum of nakedness, from see-through bustier tops \u00e0 la Florence Pugh to underwear-baring skirts like Kelly Ripa. <\/p>\n

An easy favorite? Embellished numbers. <\/strong>Quinta Brunson, for example, rocked a diaphanous number covered in sequin embellishments, while Becky G chose a similarly sparkly bustier blanketed in crystals. <\/p>\n

Kendall Jenner, meanwhile, set herself apart by going the high fashion route, in haute couture. She wore one of the most controversial dresses<\/a> from Paris Couture Week to the annual after-party. <\/p>\n

The biggest naked dresser of the night, however, was none other than Florence Pugh, who wore sheer looks to both the Oscars proper and the after-party \u2014 the latter totally freed the nip<\/a>. <\/p>\n
